The 8th Annual Rick Thorpe Memorial Golf Tournament was held on
Saturday September 26 th, 2009 at the Country Club of
Wilbraham.

 The
purpose of the Tournament is to celebrate Rick’s memory and to
support the Rick Thorpe Memorial Fund. Two $1,500
scholarships are awarded respectively to a graduating male and graduating female senior from Minnechaug Regional High School.
The recipients of the Scholarships will exemplify Rick and the standards he set as a student, athlete, and friend. Based on last years attendance and support we were able award
Brett Tobin and Breanne Dufault each with a $1500 scholarship.
The
Thorpe Memorial Fund Committee wants to thank you for your
support. The tragic events of September 11th touched us
all, many were lost but none will be forgotten. This is our way to
stop and remember Rick and all those that perished that terrible
day.
